WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! MC RULES!!!
Today... Miriam College WON 1ST PLACE in the WNCAA CHEERLEADING COMPETITION!!!
Today, when I got to school, I was so excited thinking about the WNCAA... Thinking about how much fun it would be to watch them, scream for them, see the other schools, ride on the bus and missing health class (haha...)
Before classes started, Monica let me read a chapter from 'The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks' about nipples and their naked bodies caressing each other (haha!)... you know... I have got to watch that movie!
There was no homeroom class for us because I think Ms. Ribo was absent or late (I dunno... I missed the other subjects) and we were just waiting there... talking...
First period: Social Studies... We watched a movie about Jose Rizal... I took down so much notes... I filled the size one....back to back...
Second Period: Math... I was half-listening while taking down notes... Makes you wonder how I managed to do that...
Recess... I went with Danielle cuz we were both going to the WNCAA...
Okay, it was third period when Ms. Grey told all those going to the WNCAA to leave the classroom. Me and the I-8ers (Vero, Mariel, Nicole (Briones), Donna, Cess, Leeann, Danielle, Kitkat, Mikko, Mita...did I forget someone? hope not...) were on our way down when cla Nicki Dayanghirang told us to go back up... So all of us including the other first years went back... We didn't go back inside the classroom anymore because... you know how Ms. Grey is...she sent us out already so we needn't go back inside... So we waited in the staircase... After a while of waiting cla Alex Zuluaga told us we could wait in front of the clinic... So there... we went in front of the clinic... We boarded bus no. 2... (there were three rides... Bus no. 1, Bus no. 2 and coaster... at that time I didn't know what a coaster was...)
Ang saya tlga s bus! Ang ingay nmin as in! Puro fist year kmi at apat lng ata ung mga 4th year... oh dear...op...jke lng... I kept taking pix in the bus with my fone...(nxt time q nlng iuupload ung mga pix)... in my opinion...it was so traffic... we were moving sluggish... It took us a little more than an hour before we actually got to the Makati Colleseum (well knowing that makati is far...)
When we got there, I immediately saw the hardcourt and boosters. I felt weird seeing them in blue and gold outfits and seeing us, the knollers in our tan and green uniform... We were the only ones with uniform colors diffrent form our school colors... Then, we waited sooooo long for it all to start... I bid Tere and Kathryn good luck because they were performing...boosters... To pass the time all the schools were like having this screaming contest...haha...syempre ako... ang galing ko tumili... you could hear banshees from our side cuz there are no guys...all girls school... we were like 'go mc' or 'mc' or 'aaaaahhhh' and they were like 'san beda' or 'ssc' or whatever... Then me and Daniel acompanied May Anne and Elaine to the bathrooms... May Anne... Angelicum... M____... haha!
San Beda was first to perform... They were quite good...not just their cute red cheerleader outifts... as in ang hirap ng mga ginagawa nila... I think they kinda pressured the next performers, which was St. Scho. In my opinion, St. Scho, didn't do too well... no offense but the first few seconds napalpak na cla...They were falling off their pyramids! Their hardcourt made so much mistakes and they were not sabay... worse pa... their boosters can't be heard... their voices were soooo soft. In fairness their uniforms were okay... The jogging pants were cute but the outfit would've been cuter if it were skirts! The uniforms of their hardcourt was okay... The uniforms of their boosters was a white jacket and denim pants which, in my opinion, made them look big.
After them was mc... Yes! Syempre kami... tayo kami and then this host girl says 'But before that let's watch our sponsors' Pakiya kami diba... At least kami napahiya hindi ang hardcourt at boosters... She obviously made a mistake cuz the other criteria judging person told mc to perform cuz it was well our turn...
So the girls in blue and gold cheerleader outfits appeared on stage... (Ang cute tlga ng outfits nila... The matching long sleeves and mini skirts... and the boosters outfit was nice too... MC blue and goldish long-sleeved shirt similar to that of the boosters except different styles and black jazz pants...) I'm not being biased or anything but ANG GALING NG MC!!! You could really see that they really prepared for it... They did all the gymastics stuff from backflips to non-handed cartwheels to tossing to pyramids and the most original (because they were invented and no other school performed them...) dance moves... Then they even spelled out MC when they were lying down on the floor. The others were walking hanstanded (I must say that is a talent not everyone has...) They even had banners and stuff (I can't really describe everything... Watch RPN tommorrow... 3:00 pm) It was really worth screaming for. Then we noticed also the boosters who were cheering above the stands. They were also doing complicated steps and their voices were loud and clear... MC was amazing! It was really worth missing four subjects...
After us was La Salle Zobel... They were okay enough and better than St. Scho but not better than San Beda... San Beda was like tough competition... They still needed a little work but they were okay... They still need to think of newer moves because it seems like the moves seem a little old... The music was okay except for the rock song... it was so not bagay... cheerleading routine and then rock... okay... Then they started cheering so the boys in the stands were cheering... I found it funny cuz when the boys did it, it was so funny... Upon hearing them I imagined boy boosters... With their green pants and pompoms...haha!
After them was Assumptin Pampanga... IT WAS A DISASTROUS PERFORMANCE!!! No offense but first of all their outfit... hanging blouses... fuck...talk about yuck... There was even a person their who had a waistline that was about 30+ inches and was wearing a hanging blouse and mini skirt... I told Danielle to look at her and I was laughing so hard... What on earth would a girl her size be wearing a hanging blouse for? To show of her fat? I guess it's because it's part of the uniform but still... How humiliating for her... Then there cheers were so jologs... They were marching and chanting 'Yes sir!'... What is this CAT? There moves were so jologs... no originality and were moves grade one students would dance... Guess what their first song was... 'U. G. L. Y. You aint got no alibay You're ugly yea yea you're ugly...' Baka they admit they're ugly because their there showing of their bulging, disgusting belly fat... Ick! They were dancing as if they were telling everyone na panget routine nila... The smug feeling cute expressions on their faces... pathetic... Then the next music was classical and they were dancing ballet moves... That was oringinal... Wishful thinking... But what is this a ballet show?! Again music doesn't match... Poor them...What a humiliating performance...
After them... was the last school to perform... Angelicum... They were good... Better than the rest but again, not better then San Beda (and Miriam...ehehe...) The routine was cool but I don't like their outfits... Light blue long sleeves and jogging pants... But they were good. Nice moves...
St. Scho and MC performed during the intermissions (1st intermission:after mc's performance... 2nd: after Assumption Pampanga?) So that added a lot to our screaming... Not only do we have amazing High school hard court and Sayawatha (Dance troupe) but we have an amazing College Dance troupe as well! I'm so proud of you MC!!!
After that... the results...
2nd runner-up... the winners of P5,000 cash and P30,000 worth of Adidas apparell... is.... ANGELICUM!
1st runner-up... the winners of P10,000 cash and P40,000 worth of Adidas apparell... is... SAN BEDA! After this we were screaming at the top of our voices... It was so obvious who would win... We knew we were going to win... You could see it naman eh... I could really feel it talaga...
1st place... The CHAMPIONS... the winners of P15,000 cash and P50,000 worth of Adidas apparell is... MIRIAM COLLEGE!!! All the Knollers in the stands stood up screamed and cheered and jumped like crazy. I felt a surge of victory flow through my veins... My heart was pounding with... with... satisfaction... joy...a good sense of pride... and damn... good old victory....(hehe...labo...) The hardcourt and boosters were now crying... Tears of joys... We really knew they really worked hard for it practicing every single day until 6:00 or later... All the pain and sweat paid off... They did it! It was so amazing witnessing my school take home the gold... I raised the blue balloon I was holding... The blue and gold (okay...yellow) balloons could be seen being held up and swayed in the stands... And music played... 'We are the champions...'
As I was walking back to the bus with my friends, proudly clasping my blue balloon, some squatter kid was trying to grab it fom me... I was like 'Yuck! Get away from me! This is my balloon' (masama b? thoughts lng yan... I'm not a bad person... negative impression lng un...) but he was so nakakaawa... He wanted a baloon so badly... It was a really mababaw thing but he'd be happy... He grabbed the balloon from me while I was guilily thinking it through and he ran away... After that I was like 'Puta! Remembrance ko yon!' I was feeling pissed because some kid ran away with an awesome remembrance that will remain in my memories forever... That balloon propbably popped by now... huhuhu... Nakakaasar naman oh... Ang saya-saya ng araw ko and some kid gets my (balloon) remembrance... bad trip... But it makes no difference cuz WE STILL WON! Yeah!
So on the bus I took a picture in my phone with Daniel's yellow balloon (you're probably thinking that I'm really insane by now...) But it doesn't have the same feel... Apart from the fact that this balloon was yellow while mine was blue, I was holding mine when we triumphed in the WNCAA... We saw Bus no. 1 and the coaster... I know what a coaster is now! It's a small bus that looks like a van... wahaha!
We got back to school by 5:00 with wide smiles on our faces but tired expressions as well... We were dropped of in the College Lower Lanai place so me, Danielle walked going back to the High School. Walking back, we met Lilet and we talked excitedly while making our way to the Sports Com...
This day has been so AMAZING! (I know I've said that countless times in this entry... but it is...) The triumph of our school, watching the competition while the others were back in class studying, us being in an aircon bus, us being in an aircon venue...haha...Okay I won't rub it in so much...
I texted Roxanne and Maan about it... Maan was like 'Yippee... Nanalo tayo... Okay... Magraragna na ko...' Fineee... Ganyan ka kasi hindi mo na witness victory ng MC... haha... Ragna addict tlga... Roxanne at least was more enthusiastic about it and next time... We're going to watch J&J!!! Yeah! |
